HP and Microsoft worked together to fix an effect affecting HP Bombardment Health Manager within sure HP business notebooks. The fix detects if HP business laptops have HP Battery Health Managing director disabled in their BIOS. The fix can then enable HP Battery Health Manager if needed. The update addressing the battery wellness effect comes in the Windows ten KB4583263 update.

HP Battery Wellness Managing director is a BIOS-level setting available on several HP business organization laptops, including ProBook, EliteBook, ZBook, and Elite Dragonfly devices. The setting optimizes bombardment life by lowering the frequency of high land-of-charge. If left unmitigated, high state-of-charge can speed up battery swelling and aging.

If someone wants to disable HP Battery Health Manager, they tin select "Maximize My Battery Duration" as a default setting. HP does not recommend disabling this feature, yet, as overcharging tin injure battery wellness over time.
